join our team

We have volunteers from all walks of life
with a commonality of loving animals. Many return year after year for the rewarding experience of knowing they are making a difference. Our team works closely together and many lasting friendships have been formed as a result.

Potential volunteers should be aware that our clinics are hard work. Each 12 – 14 hour day involves moving, assembling, and breaking down the entire clinic. Locations are variable, some without air conditioning or amenities. You will get dirty and sweaty, but our volunteers say it's worth it.

If you are interested in joining us, please use our contact form to introduce yourself.

Veterinarians and Vet Techs
IHSNP loves the support we’ve received from vets and techs from across the United States and Mexico. We like to emphasize that procedures in our clinics may be different than back home. If you have not participated in MASH-style clinics and wish to speak with a vet or tech from the U.S. who has, don’t hesitate to contact us and we’ll put you in touch with seasoned veterans. They are great resources and can help answer any doubts or concerns you may have from a medical standpoint.

Clinic volunteers are responsible for the health and welfare of our patients and their owners before, during, and after surgery. Depending on your experience and skill level, you will be asked to do one or more of the following:
